Considered one of techno’s fastest rising DJs and producers, Kobosil having helped pioneer a sound that is at once deep, fast and aggressive. Born and raised in the working-class district of Berlin Neukölln, his musical aesthetic is shaped not only by his upbringing but also the cathartic energy of EBM, noise and industrial. Aside from releasing regularly on Berghain's in-house label Ostgut Ton, Kobosil also runs his own R - Label Group imprint, which he uses as a platform to promote releases by up-and-coming Berlin producers at the forefront of a bleak and riotous approach to dance music. It’s this combination of the dark and ecstatic that is at the foundation of Kobosil’s powerful approach to techno.
