Producer and DJ Marli delves into her studio set up, and production process for s2i Recordings Magazine. Combining digital and analog techniques when writing music, her latest feature in the magazine pins her alongside the likes of Guy Contact, Sleep D, Shedbug, Nite Fleit + more.

With a history of formal music training, and years spent studying production, her original works have laid the foundation for her sets as a selector, frequently playing at local hotspots Dr Morse, Xe54, Section 8, Glamorama and Revolver Upstairs.

Having released her debut track ‘No Service’ on Brazilian record label Yellow Island, 'Meet Me At The Corner Of' on local label The Love Above, her debut EP is scheduled to release on ILIO records in early 2022. Weaving between genres deep house, electronic, breakbeat, funk, and soul in sets which maintain heavy syncopated rhythms and laden with rich samples, a showcase from Marli harbours a warm nostalgic vibe throughout.
