An artist who has seemingly been at the top of his game since his first release in 2004, Omar-S has gone on to release 8 studio albums, and dozens of highly revered EPs - almost all on his own imprint label FXHE Records. Nearly 2 decades on since his formative years in Detroit, Omar-S has earned himself legend status alongside fellow Detroit names Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Inner-City, Marcellus Pittman, and Rick Wilhite, and has performed on the world's biggest stages - Primavera Sound, Movement Detroit, Printworks, Lost Village, OFFSonar, Coachella, Panorama Bar, and many more. Fresh from releasing his critically acclaimed album ‘Can’t Change’ in early 2022 - packed to the brim with his signature sound of crunchy analog drums, soulful jazz-tipped samples, and rich vocal cuts - he returns to Naarm after 3 years away, soundtracking an open-air day party to kick off the summer season.
