Novel Presents Man Power

We are thrilled to welcome UK electronic powerhouse Man Power for his Australian performance debut.

Returning to Australia for the first time since he lived here 17 years ago, Man Power has an impressive list of credentials that precede him. Dubbed by Resident Advisor in 2018 as an artist that creates ‘intergalactic house music’, his sprawling discography has seen him contribute to Life & Death, Hivern Discs, Optimo Trax, ESP Institute and Correspondent. His own imprint Me Me Me and the newly minted Now Now Now showcase a similar theme, housing productions from a spread of respectable acts within the scene.

What makes Man Power difficult to categorise is what makes him so vital - each record, each set and each remix is unique. Drawing on house, techno, Italo, disco, post-punk, new wave and beyond. His ability to bend well worn genres freely is a rare talent, his most recent album ‘This Is Not An Album’ encapsulating this skill perfectly.

Supported by the likes of Ben UFO, Elton John, Bryan Ferry, Andrew Weatherall, DJ Harvey and DJ Bone (plus many more), Man Power’s intergalactic house music has asserted him as a staple electronic act within our known universe.
