Hailing from Bournemouth, UK, Instinct was introduced to the rave scene by his older sister and her friends, who sold him his first set of turntables at 12 years old. After a few years he gained his first DJ set at 14 years old at Madison's and went on to play for Destiny at the infamous Manor Nightclub & Cocosheebeen at The Opera House. He later released his first solo D&B tracks on various One Nation compilation albums, as well as collaborating with friends Shafie & Deep under the alias 'Kryptonite' on Destiny Records. After 21 years in the game Instinct brings a deep knowledge and depth of history to his sets, representing the full spectrum of the D&B genre.
